Anita Mannur is assistant professor of English and Asian/ Asian American Studies at Miami University, Oxford, OH. She earned her PhD in comparative literature (2002) from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She is author of Culinary Fictions: Food in South Asian Diasporic Cultures (Temple UP, 2010) and co-editor of Theorizing Diaspora (Blackwell, 2003)
